CueClean analyses subtitle files on your device. We do not upload or retain the SRT or VTT content you open in the studio.

Who controls your data

Data we handle

Subtitle text and edits stay in browser memory. Device-local storage may retain your Pro entitlement, free-export status and saved rule settings. Stripe processes payment and may provide us with transaction identifiers, payment status and billing contact details.

Why and how long

We use payment data to supply the purchase, prevent fraud, provide support and meet tax or accounting obligations. Stripe and hosting providers retain their records under their own policies. Local settings remain until you clear this site's browser data.

Your choices

You can clear local site data at any time. You may request access, correction or deletion of personal information we control by emailing us. Legal retention duties may require us to keep limited transaction records.

Security and transfers

Payments are handled by Stripe over encrypted connections. Their infrastructure may process information outside Australia. CueClean is not intended for confidential subtitle workflows where your browser or device is not trusted.
